Buffalo Eddy Petroglyphs

The following pictures were taken of the Buffalo Eddy Petroglyphs, one of the Nez Perce National Historical Park sites located about 10 miles south of Asotin, Washington along the banks of the Snake River.

These petroglyphs or rock drawings are believed to have been carved hundreds of years ago by the Nez Perce Indians.  Buffalo Eddy is located near present day Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington.
