Willie Keil's gravestone. Born Jan. 12, 1836. Died May 19, 1855. Willie was buried on this spot overlooking the Willapa Valley on November 26, 1855, shortly after the Bethel colony's wagon train arrived here after traveling on the Oregon Trail from Missouri. The grave is located in the Giesy Family (Keil Colony) Cemetery near Menlo, WA.
